At Scarlet, wellness isn't an escape from everyday life, it's a chance to reconnect with yourself in one of Cornwall's most peaceful coastal settings. Our wellbeing escapes combine Ayurvedic-inspired spa treatments, yoga and meditation, nourishing food and time in nature, all designed to restore balance and calm.
With the sound of the Atlantic below and airy spaces crafted for stillness, Scarlet is made for slow mornings, mindful movement and quiet moments. Whether you want a one-day reset or a multi-day escape, we help you create a stay that feels deeply personal.
A wellbeing escape is an immersive experience that supports your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing through rest, movement, guided therapies and nourishing practices. Many guests join to reduce stress, improve sleep, gain clarity or simply pause from a busy life.
Research shows that escapes combining mindfulness, movement, rest and nature can lead to lasting improvements in wellbeing, reduced stress and better mood. A short break can make a measurable difference.
Our coastal setting and holistic, sustainable spa make Scarlet a unique destination for wellbeing escape in the UK. What makes us different is our focus on Ayurvedic-inspired rituals designed to restore the body's natural balance, delivered in tented treatment rooms open to the sounds of nature. Our clifftop hot tubs overlook the Atlantic, while our reed-filtered outdoor pool and natural, chemical-free spa facilities provide a truly organic wellness experience.
We offer daily complimentary wellbeing classes including yoga, meditation, pilates and breathwork. Our seasonal, nourishing food and drink is crafted to support energy and digestion, and our adult-only environment is designed specifically for quiet and restoration. A wellbeing escape at Scarlet is designed to be both gently structured and spacious. Typical activities include morning yoga or movement classes, followed by guided meditation or breathwork sessions. You'll enjoy Ayurvedic-inspired spa treatments and have opportunities for wild swimming or time in the reed pool. Clifftop hot tub sessions are a signature experience, complemented by nourishing meals throughout the day.
We also offer optional workshops or wellbeing talks, alongside plenty of time to rest, read or wander the coastal path. All classes are open to every level, and no experience is needed.
Guests often report reduced stress and mental fatigue, along with improved sleep and deeper rest. Many experience greater clarity and emotional balance, increased flexibility and physical ease, and a renewed connection to nature. Perhaps most importantly, guests describe a sense of calm that lasts long after departure.
Wellbeing escapes can help recalibrate your routine and give you space to step back, reset and return home with a refreshed perspective.
Wellbeing scapes range from one to five nights. Prices depend on season, room type and treatment selection. Many wellbeing escapes include daily classes, spa access, lunch or dinner and at least one treatment.
