Sustainability and innovation are always at the forefront of what we do at Scarlet. Making everyday changes contribute to a bigger mission of eco-conscious behaviours.

As a result, in the past we have kindly asked that guests bring their own flip flops or sliders as single use footwear can be harmful to the environment. We do now have flip flops for sale in the Spa if you have forgotten yours.

Choosing our flip flop provider wasn’t easy decision, sustainability, safety and purpose all needed to be considered equally. Our new flip flops are consciously crafted from recycled rubber, reducing landfill and waste in their creation. Once their lifetime is over, we are able to return them to the supplier where they can be recycled again into rubber for children’s playgrounds, giving them a new lease of life.

These flip flops will now be available to purchase from our spa desk at £8 per pair.

Our treatment philosophy is inspired by Ayurveda, an Indian holistic health system that helps each of us arrive at a more complete self-understanding. Treatments can include a personal Ayurvedic consultation with a Scarlet therapist, uncovering your natural constitution to make your treatment truly unique to you.
