Recently our Artist in Residence, Hannah, took over our sea-view Upper Dining Room at Scarlet, inviting our guests to immerse themselves within her process, to see how her creativity unfolds and finds a home on a canvas. After working with the Scarlet for many years, Hannah welcomed us with open arms, letting us see the way in which her mind works and how she seeks out the perfect location to create an otherworldly representation of letting the wild in. During Hannah's stay, she produced an exceptional collection of works that eloquently captures Scarlet's seamless indoor-outdoor design. She demonstrates how our natural environment becomes an integral canvas for contemporary living and in doing so, enhances the restorative quality of our guests' experience.
