Our favourite way to spend a Sunday has to be the walk from Mawgan Porth to Bedruthan Steps. It’s only half an hour each way, but the views are spectacular. Reward your efforts afterwards with a hearty Sunday lunch and a glass of wine looking out to sea – perfection.
Initially the climb from Mawgan Porth beach onto the cliff path is steep but once on top the walk is fairly level (unless you decide to descend down onto the beach at Bedruthan Steps). It takes about 20-30 minutes one way, though the walk time can be seriously impeded by the need to take pictures every few steps!

And the view ahead… Into the early evening sun.

And closer to beach level, turquoise sea, dramatic rocks and white waves.
