Our Private Dining service allows you to host your own dinner party – complete with your own private sea view terrace – with none of the hassle of entertaining at home.
We give you a call a week or so before hand, confirm numbers, and run through any particular food likes or dislikes, or special dietary requirements you have. Our chefs then create your menu for you on the day of your dinner according to the best fresh seasonal produce available to them on that day, and with your preferences in mind.
There’s no need to worry about pre-ordering your food, your menu typically includes meat, fish and vegetarian options and offers your guests a choice of:
- three starters,
- three mains, and
- three deserts.
Then all you need to do is show up, plug in your iPod, chill out and start welcoming your guests.
Our side of the bargain is to cook your food to perfection and take care of serving your guests, clearing and washing up. Fancy a wine flight to go with your meal? No problem…we love pairing great wine with great food.
Your side of the deal is to relax, soak up the Scarlet ambiance and stunning views and enjoy the great food, great wine and great company.
For groups of eight to twenty people. £44.50 per person for three courses.

Here’s an example of a menu we designed for a recent Private Dining celebration, just to give you an idea of what we can create together:
Cauliflower soup with wild chives, smoked cheese and onion brioche
Deep-fried Boccadon Farm veal escalope with egg and tarragon mayonnaise, red cabbage salad
Crispy Cornish fish cake with poached duck egg, sea purslane and hollandaise sauce
Braised ox cheek with beef loin, baked onion, white onion puree and spring onions
Wild turbot with violet potatoes, caramelised shallot puree and warm potted shrimps
Summer vegetable lasagne with fried duck egg yolk, baby spinach and sautéed wild mushrooms
White chocolate mousse with honeycomb, raspberries, pistachio cake and natural yoghurt sorbet (For two to share)
Dark chocolate and mascarpone ganache with salted caramel and hazelnuts
Blueberry and almond tart with clotted cream and lemon sorbet
