Events at the Scarlet
Lounge areas provide an informal atmosphere, while our private dining room is perfect to hire for really special occasions. These beautifully designed spaces, the expansive sea views and our attention to detail will ensure that your meeting or celebration is truly memorable.
We have licenced some of our public spaces for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships and at certain times of the year are able to offer a unique and informal atmosphere for you to tie the knot or host a ceremony. Weddings at the Scarlet fall into three categories: Intimate, Simple Exclusive, largely guided by the number of guests you would like to attend and the time of year you would like to hold your celebration.
Celebrations and Private Dining
For groups of 8-20 you can use our private dining space with it’s own terrace, iPod dock and stunning sea views. Choose between our more informal Feast menu (think hearty sharing dishes) and our more refined Fine menu (a seasonal, locally sourced three course lunch or dinner). Perfect for family celebrations, birthdays or just a friends get-together.
The Restaurant: Gatherings of up to 12 can enjoy our set lunch menu, or up to six for dinner
The Private Dining Room can be used by parties of 7 – 20 guests. It is a beautiful, versatile space with a private terrace and wonderful sea views which can be used for inspirational meetings, celebratory meals or intimate weddings. Half day hire is £270 or £350 for a full day – perfect for meetings, workshops or training days. (Please note there is no room charge when booking the space for a lunch or dinner).
Larger parties of 15 to 35 can make exclusive use of The Retreat Lounge for a sociable, stand-up affair. Stand up affairs have a per person cost starting from £15 per person. This includes a selection of 5 canapés per person, all other beverage and food costs and additional.

Dinner £37.00 for two-courses, £44.50 for three-courses per person
