Meetings and Celebrations
You can choose from a number of areas at the Scarlet to hold your event, whether it’s a small party for four or a larger gathering of up to 35. Lounge areas provide an informal atmosphere, while our private dining room is perfect to hire for really special occasions. These beautifully designed spaces, the expansive sea views and our attention to detail will ensure that your meeting or celebration is truly memorable.
Depending on the numbers for your event, you can chose from our daily changing set lunch or dinner menus, or we can custom design a menu just for your occasion. From the music to the food and wine, we tailor everything to you.
The Scarlet has a licence for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships. Weddings at the Scarlet fall into two categories: Intimate and Exclusive. There are two areas in which you can get married. Up to 12 guests can use our reception lounge or retreat lounge with parties of 13 or more using only the retreat lounge.
Intimate Weddings for Two to 20 Guests: Your ceremony is held in the Scarlet’s stunning Reception Lounge, which has spectacular views, a balcony for sunny days and a wood burning stove to bring warmth to any winter wedding. Your wedding lunch or dinner can be taken in the restaurant or our private dining room, depending on numbers.
Exclusive Weddings for up to 74 Guests: The Scarlet is also available for you to use exclusively for your wedding ceremony and celebration, providing you and your party stay for a minimum of two nights and meet our minimum spend requirements. Your ceremony isheld in The Retreat – a spacious lounge with a large roof terrace. The maximum number of overnight guests we can accommodate for exclusive use is 74. The Private Dining Room can be used by parties of 12- 24 guests. It is a beautiful, versatile space with a private terrace and wonderful sea views which can be used for inspirational meetings, celebratory meals or intimate weddings
Larger parties of 15 to 35 can make exclusive use of The Retreat Lounge for a sociable, stand-up affair.
